Overview of the Role

The Retail – E-commerce & Operations Specialist will play a central role in the daily operations of a retail business with a strong focus on e-commerce. From managing store employees to ensuring customer satisfaction both in-store and online, this position calls for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who understands modern retail dynamics.

You will be responsible for executing business strategies that increase sales, improve customer service standards, and ensure inventory accuracy. The role also includes vendor and supplier coordination, staff training, and assisting in product merchandising both online and on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all retail store operations daily.
• Oversee e-commerce platforms, monitor online orders, and ensure timely processing and deliveries.
• Manage inventory levels, stock counts, and product availability both in-store and online.
• Train, guide, and evaluate store staff to maintain high performance and excellent customer service.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers regarding product supply, delivery timelines, and pricing.
• Monitor store layout and merchandising to align with seasonal trends and customer behavior.
• Implement and execute sales strategies to boost overall revenue.
• Collaborate with the marketing team for product promotions and online campaigns.
• Handle customer feedback and ensure resolution of any product or service-related issues.
• Maintain reports for sales performance, order tracking, and inventory flow.
• Monitor competitor activity in both the local retail and online space and provide feedback to management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, visual standards, and store safety protocols.

Required Qualifications

This position requires someone already familiar with the retail and e-commerce industry, ideally within Kuwait, and who can confidently take on a leadership role within an established team.

• 3 to 5 years of proven experience in retail or e-commerce operations.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage day-to-day store functions.
• Solid understanding of retail sales processes and online order workflows.
• Experience with POS systems, inventory software, and online order management tools.
• Ability to manage and mentor a team of store associates.
• Excellent customer service orientation.
• Preferred: Basic to fluent Arabic communication skills.
• Must hold a valid and transferable Visa 18 (Ahli).
